My clear glycerin soap came from Michael's. I used a 50% off coupon. Normally, this amount sells for $9.99.

It cuts very easily. A four year old can do it with a dull knife. I supervise, of course.
Fill a dish with the cut pieces and melt according to the package directions.

I use my microwave.
The soap is very hot, but it is also slippery. Use caution.
I'm not sure if this step is necessary, but it certainly didn't hurt. It's also a step that a four year old can help with. We only use a very small amount in our molds.
This is what we use to get the cute egg shape. When it came time to remove from the mold, the top came right off. I had to slip the knife blade around the edge just a bit on the bottom half.

This is what we use for scent. Just a few drops is all that is needed. If you don't have any of these, similar scents are sold by the glycerin soap.

And, I happened to find an old funnel that fit perfectly into the eggs! I can't imagine filling them without one.

I used one drop for the pink, and four drops for the yellow.
Adding drops of scent and color are fun for a four year old too.

After they were filled, I popped them into the refrigerator for an hour.
So easy, even a four year old and his grandma can do it!

Thanks for the directions!!
I have a four year old who might just enjoy this completely! Oooo, and we could make them and give them for Christmas gifts...I hear it's only 6 months away...
Where did you find that egg shape mold. I've been looking for those for a different project and can't find them anywhere. If you get this note, please send me a quick email to rebecca@allcalltechnologies.com. Thanks so much! ~Rebecca
