Scissors and glue

That is all I need for a day of fun. Oh, and some thrift store finds to glue the cut-out stuff onto. Decoupage is just too too fun!

Today I'm cutting up an old children's book illustrated by Marjorie Cooper, and gluing the bright and colorful 1950's illustrations to things I've picked up at thrift stores. By tonight I should have a lovely desk set for my big new desk in the church library. All the pictures are of someone reading to someone else.

I'm sorting through my collection of Scrabble letters so I can label my desk set. Although soon I will have to start gluing pictures of Old MacDonald's Farm, as it won't be long until all the letters I have left are E I E I O.
