My Idea of Fun vs. My Family's Idea of Fun

Last Night Oldest Son, Daughter and Son-in-law and THGGM went swimming in D and SiL's swimming pool. Then, they went for dinner at the Mall and to a movie. I hear that they all had a WONDERFUL time together (even though they had to take cover due to a tornado warning)

While they swam, I played in Daughter's basement with the granddogs. I left with absolutely no make-up on the left side of my face. Then, I got dropped off at home while they moved on to more exciting things.

I went to ladies craft night at church. There were nine of us. Eight who diligently worked on scrapbooking, and me, who made about a dozen baby cards. I did this for FIVE hours. At 10:45 I realized that I hadn't eaten anything since lunch.

When I was getting ready for bed, I also realized that I still didn't have any make-up on the left side of my face, and I sort of smelled like a beagle.

Maybe someday I will have a scanner, and then I will be able to post my wonderful baby cards.

My favorites have blocks spelling out the word "BABY". I made these stamps myself by using real alphabet blocks, stamping them into an ink pad, and stamping them onto that pink eraser type material and carving out everything that isn't inked. They look wonderful. You should try it. You won't be disappointed.

Sounds lovely. I should try it. In my spare time. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha thunk. (That was me laughing so hard I fell over.)
