It is SO perfect that I cannot believe I didn't think of this months ago.
He doesn't need to be in it for long periods of time, just long enough for me to turn around without fear of him sticking contraband into his mouth, falling down stairs, or hugging the kitty too hard.
If he seems to be dressed too lightly for the extreme outside temperature, trust me. The Boy is NOT cold.
Our pipes to the washing machine are STILL frozen, so in an effort to thaw them, I have the heat on hold at 70 degrees. It's usually at 65.
The pipes are holding, but they haven't thawed yet.
I, on the other hand, am so hot I am entertaining myself by pressing my sweaty forehead against the front window pane.
I dread seeing this gas bill. Last year we had a four hundred dollar bill one month, and it wasn't nearly this cold and the thermostat stayed at 65.
Tonight, just for fun I suppose, I got a migraine.
I've been engaging in the mindless activity of making another styrofoam hat head. That is the scary looking thing in the bottom picture. Baby Boy likes to kiss it. Since I like to use fake body parts like heads and hands as display pieces around the house, it's a good thing that he is okay with them.

Oh my. $400 gas bill. The thought terrifies me. I have a feeling that's what we'll have this month - it's been in the negative numbers at night here. Ouch.
