Have you read "The Birds' Christmas Carol"?
Such a charming little book.
You will wish that you knew Carol Bird. She dies, just so you know, and aren't left feeling depressed upon having read it.
Truth be told, had she lived, she would be dead now anyway, just by virtue of her age.
That ought to cheer you.
Anyway, it is only two months until Christmas.
I'm aching to get my art room set up and ready for cutting, gluing and the making of things nobody but me would ever want.
I'm also looking for more hardcover books like this. Mine are old and decrepit, which is just how I like them.
There is a new paperback copy on my bookshelf in the basement, for reading.
These two will be purely decorative.
And, keeping with tradition, I am sick. It has gone from a cold to a full-fledged cough which scares babies and small children and keeps the grown man up at night saying things like 'can i get you anything?', 'are you sure you are okay?' and 'what WAS that?'.
Ahhh..,
fast approaches the holiday season.
