Today THGGM dropped me off at Daughter's on his way to work. I helped her pack up two kids to go to their doctor's appointments.
It was a cold morning, but the sunrise was spectacular!
One day this week, Daughter had 10 deer in her yard. She does NOT live in a rural setting. She lives in the city, near all kinds of large stores and an Interstate. So, I kept an eye out for them, but they didn't show.
The doctor's appointments went very well. Famke does need to see an opthamologist, but this was no surprise. She has a very goopy eye. We never notice it anymore, but it does cause people to ask if she has been crying. Her daddy and one of her aunts had this problem also.
Both of them needed shots, one of the joys of childhood. But, they did very well and Daughter and I even took them out to lunch afterwards. Since they are not my children, I will tell you that they were absolutely adorable! Of course, we went to mommy's work to eat, so co-workers and customers alike were impressed also.
Jonge is spending the night with Pake tonight. I can hear them talking in the 'blue' room. This is what Jonge has named it. Friday night is Pake's very favorite night of the week. I cannot imagine why!

My daughter had a blocked tearduct, too. When she was about a year old, it was easily unblocked in a minor procedure - but they did have to sedate her, which for me was a bit traumatic...
