Kissing Famke

Sometimes, all it takes is a kiss. Famke gives as good as she gets!

I must also update my rant from below. I did actually talk to a kind hearted understanding person from the nursing home. The changes in my mom's meds were even more extreme than even I knew when I wrote that one. But, things have been adjusted and hopefully we will see good results from this.

I would like to believe that God's peace can calm even the spirit of one suffering from dementia. I know that nothing is impossible with God.

Help my unbelief.

Truly God's peace can quiet those suffering with dementia - and even brain cancer as I witnessed with my own Mother. I found myself always singing or humming hymns that I knew we familiar to her - and they gave me comfort at the same time. We must also remember to pray for ourselves - we need that quieting spirit too! I think the Lord has given you that special "dose" of peace in that precious babies kiss...
Praying for you and your family, as always.

I can't imagine what you went through yesterday, but I'm glad someone helped you square it away today. And that baby's kisses must work miracles too:)
