There's Always Tomorrow...

Sing with me now!

I did not get the day I had hoped for.

Someone shared a germ with me.

But, I made the most of the day.

While drinking coffee on the couch, I remembered that I still have the "Fred Krueger" signed Valentine's candy box that must have belonged to one of THGGM's aunts.

So, I redid the mantle. That was about all I was up for today. Well, that and holding grandchildren. And, I made meatloaf.

Jonge woke up from his nap feeling terrible. This in turn made Pake feel terrible, too. I was amazed that at five months old it was obvious that Famke knew something was amiss also. She would look at her brother, and her little lower lip would tremble.

Now. Back to my mantle.

I located THGGM's other piece of Watts. The patterns do not match, but I think they look great together (just nod your head in agreement).

Notice please, how I do not dust and polish my furniture. This cuts down on the glare when I take pictures (again, just nod your head. an eye-roll might be appropriate also).

The "Family" picture shadow box came out again, too. I can barely remember that day. Goodness, I can barely remember THIS day.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so hot. I woke up feeling like I could sleep at least...oh...another 10 hours or so, sigh. It's COLD here today with the east wind howling down the Gorge but it's supposedly to be brilliantly sunny for a change. Dylan will be pointing out the window all day, wanting to go for a walk but the wind chills AND the wind are going to be way too cold. He'll just have to cozy-up with Grandma today and enjoy the sunshine inside with me.
