Today I used up more of the thrift stuff I have on hand. I found a baggy filled with clip clothes pins and magnets for which I'd paid 25 cents. While sitting at my computer I noticed some double sided tape in a drawer. I also had recently purchased some ribbon on sale at Michael's Craft Store. Voila! I covered half of the clothes pin with the double sided tape and added the ribbon. The magnet is glued to the back.
Now I have a nicer way to hold pictures, cartoons, and recipes on my fridge.
Oh. The Lockhorn cartoon is a favorite of ours. It is just so.., um.., us!
I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, I shall use my 'free' leap year day for thrift shopping tomorrow.

Giving up thrift shopping is just too hard! Go for it!
Our Goodwill had a half-price sale, and 99 cent jeans sale. Got lots of great stuff!
