THGGM went on a hunt today for the perfect chair for our new secretary. No. We are not sick of looking at it, yet. It was a long time coming.
And, he found one in the antique mall that I don't like. Yes, he made me go there, and I'm glad he did. The price was right, and it only required some cleaning up and a tiny amount of new upholstery.
That I found before we even bought the chair. I paid 25 cents for this piece of Laura Ashley toile. As a general rule, I do not like toile. But, since this is the only scene and I only have to see it once, I can deal with this. And, the color is perfect.

I'm a fan of toile, so I think the seat cover is beautiful.
As for that treasure sitting on your couch....his value keeps increasing with age!
