A Great Present for the Birthday Boy

Tonight THGGM and I went over to visit with my dad.

We hadn't planned to, but when I thought about him spending his first ever birthday home alone at night, well, we had to do something.

So, we pulled into the drive up at Wendy's and arrived at my dad's house with FROSTIES!

He seemed happy.

He had lunch with friends and then went to see my mom.

His comment? "You would not have known there was anything wrong with her!"

What a great birthday present.

And, just what he needed.
