Thrifty Fashions for the Very Young

Someday, I'd like to get a really good camera so I can play around with the morning light in my living room.
Until that far off day (remember, the house won't be paid off until we are 79) the fuzzy picture is the best I can do.
Maybe Famke will pose for me at the age of thirty? We will see.
I found the dress (and more! www.simplythrift.blogspot.com ) at the thrift store Saturday. She wasn't happy to model it for me until it was pointed out to her that there is a butterfly on it.
Oh! A butterfly? Why didn't you say so!

I cannot get that first line to print in green. Why?! And why does it bother me so very much?!
Why?!

That is the most annoying thing ever Judy! I don't know if I can read any further. It's like it's all black and fine and then it goes green. Ok...actually it doesn't bother me at all.

I LOVE her little dress! I miss having a little girl so much but hopefully in about 10-15 years I'll have a granddaughter to dress up! :)

My eyes are so blurry in the morning and so tired in the evening, the only times of the day I have on here, that the lighter-colored fonts just about kill me. But I love coming here so much I just work my way slowly thru it, HA! That dress is darling, Judy. I have found SO many great clothes for the boys at thrift stores. Between them and garage/yard sales, that's how I kept my kids clothed when they were little. I guess it's from my practical New England parents, but I never could see spending a fortune on kids' clothes when they'd outgrow them 5 minutes later. Except for birthdays and Christmas, that is.
