The Kind of Day We Waited for All Winter Long

THGGM had today off. It was 68 degrees, and SUNNY!

We went for breakfast with Daughter, Jonge and Famke and then to Meijer Gardens.

It was a perfectly lovely day for that. Lots of people thought so. Jonge and Famke were delighted that the water features in the children's garden were open. They had a fabulous time.

The new sculptures are great, too.
The weird picture of the horse is for perspective. THGGM, Daughter, Jonge and Famke can be seen sitting down in the background.

Colder here again tomorrow. Dang it. It's Nikki Dee's birthday.

What a beautiful spot. We are buried in snow again, a foot so far and still falling. But "they" promise it will be in the 70s this coming week. Thanks for sharing your sunshine:)

I'm kindof bummed my membership expired in January. I think I may have to consider renewing it before Summer vacation. It's such a good place to spend a morning with the boys. :)
I'm glad you guys had a good time. Did you get down to the boardwalk in the wetlands and back to the old farm? There's just SO MUCH to see!
