I'll try not to whine.
THGGM was on vacation this past week.
HE managed to accomplish great things.
I managed to feel rotten most of the time, and when I DID feel better and tried to actually DO something, I felt exhaustified the next day.
But, after a rough start to the morning, I started feeling better this afternoon.
So, we left the house and did a bit of antique shopping this afternoon. In an old old factory turned antique mall. It was FREEZING in there. My hands have not warmed up yet.
When we returned home, down came almost all of the Christmas decor. Tweaked are the things I consider seasonal and shall leave up until I try to coax spring into arriving.
Yesterday, I made a quick stop at the thrift store to spend my remaining gift certificate. THAT was fun. I updated my blog at www.simplythrift.blogspot.com
I know that tomorrow will actually be January 11, but for me it will seem like January 1.

I think when your not feeling quite 100% it's harder to warm up. Happy to hear you are on the mend though!
Happy New Year! I celebrated mine on January 6th this year. It's the thought that counts. Glad you're feeling better and I love the plate.
