What a LOVELY weekend! It felt incredibly GOOD to get out. And would you look at that. I found a LOVELY "Birds" book. My guess is that I collect these now, too.
What I appreciate about this particular bird book is that the prints of the birds do not have anything on the back of them. This means that I could actually frame the bird print AND the write up about them.
Although I won't be framing that picture on the left. LOVE the bird, but his dinner seems to be a bit underdone.
Now THIS one seems much nicer. Two parent birds working together to build a nest. Unless, of course, those are entrails. Please do not enlighten me if that is the case.

I am so about birds and other natural history books that are illustrated with drawn or painted images as opposed to photographs - looks like a great book and I love the cards as well.
