For the Birds

Okay. So they're for me.

I've had the birdhouses for quite sometime now, wondering what to do with them.

Saturday THGGM was working on a spray-painting project. He kindly agreed to paint my birdhouses Apple Green.

Although I had other plans for today, I am sick. I spent the day mostly on the couch watching reruns of Clean House.

But I did manage to dab on bits of paint here and there on the now Apple Green birdhouses.

The dots on the otherwise all green birdhouse were made by sticking on hole-reinforcers, adding paint to the hole and then removing the hole-reinforcers.

For the dots on the birdhouse that also has pink I just dipped a pencil eraser into the paint and blobbed it on.

These aren't my neatest work, but they are fine for my breeze-way, which needed a punch of color in a corner behind my chair. They shall receive some tweaking and further embellishment, I'm sure, but for now at least I can look at them and feel like I accomplished SOMETHING today.
