One Pretty Piece of Pottery

This pitcher is a small piece of Hull Pottery.
THGGM purchased it this weekend.
Although it would seem that we LOVE to thrift and antique shop TOGETHER, that would be a lie.
We drive there together, we leave there together.
In between we only occasionally bump into each other as we shop.
He will walk the entire place looking for things that interest him. If he doesn't find much he will look for stacks of old magazines and amuse himself this way until I find him. Or, if nothing holds his attention, he will search me out and announce that he needs to lay down.
Me? I enter the place looking for dishes, magazines, old toys, linens, buttons, tins, vintage baby stuff, small wooden boxes, ephemera, books, maps, game pieces, kitchen kitch, small bowls, candlesticks, sewing supplies, bird stuff, Dutch stuff, cobalt blue bottles, old baby bottles, (you get the idea)...
This weekend THGGM came across this. He's had his eye on it for awhile. For many years he has been saying that he would like to have one small piece of vintage pottery like this one.
So, he bought it.
I thought it was pricey, but he said that it was a bit crazed (oh, aren't we all) and for that reason the price was about as good as he has ever seen.
When we left, he pointed out that his ONE piece cost less than all the stuff I had picked up. I wasn't impressed, as we had been to MANY places. As I was reminding him of that he stopped me to say, "No. Just what you bought at THIS place."
Hmm.
And I REALLY want to go back there and get that one thing that I saw but didn't get.

Hull has been pricey for the past 25 years, maybe more.
That is a very pretty piece. You won't regret this purchase!
