This picture turned up Saturday when my sister and I were in my basement looking for pictures. We needed to round out the video tribute that the funeral home was putting together for my mom.
Today I went downstairs to put things back together again and noticed this picture.
It was taken at a family gathering in my parents backyard during the summer of 1983.
But I could just as easily have been convinced that this picture was just taken.
My Great-Nephew looks very much like his uncle in this picture.
And Daughter? Kado looks so very much like her!
I expect that I shall be reminiscing on this blog quite a bit in the days to come. I'm having a difficult time taking this all in.
And, I know. It seems as if it is always Thursday. But to me, it feels like it should still be Thursday, May 6. Time just sort of got away from me.

Reminiscing seem like a good way to help you through all the emotions you are feeling right now. Your title says a lot about the hope that is in your heart.
Just share your memories. It is a lot to take in and you need to process it all. I'm praying for you.
