Today THGGM and I finally bought this table.
We have been looking at it for a very long time, it seems.
Our coffee table had been an old blanket chest, so full of Christmas books and magazines that it could not be moved.
And, Kado's poor little head had gotten bumped on it's non-forgiving corners one too many times.
That must have happened to Jonge and Famke too, but they had hair. Kado is bald and fair and every little bump shows.
THIS table has NO corners. Obviously. It IS round.
I especially love the look of the wooden top.
Just recently I've realized that I don't ever intend to sell anything.
I buy stuff with the idea that I could sell it for more than what I paid for it.
Most likely, I could.
But it seems that I do not want to live in a well ordered home, nor do I want to live in a museum.
What I want is to live in a succession of booths at an antique mall where everything bears the N.F.S. (not for sale) tag.
Yes.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

When you find that location contact me and I will set-up next door.
Oh, I want a part of that action, too!
That table is awesome, and I'm sure Kado will love it too.
