Found It!

THGGM and I try to plan an early vacation around our anniversary and my birthday. It works out well for us, as the weather is usually summer-like yet the crowds are not.

If you are at all into visiting antique shops or antique malls you will be aware that the prices vary. A lot.

So, each year we TRY to find something we both like for an anniversary gift to ourselves.

This year while I was glancing into display cases looking for breakable shiny things, THGGM spotted this.

I, who adore all things old and shelf-y, LOVE it. And the price was great.

I think that I will paint the inside back of it. It seems to be a sort of metallic blue. Already I have spent about an hour arranging things, changing my mind, rearranging things. I've tried old baby items, doll tea sets, delft, and small china sugar and creamers. So far, I like this best.

Already I can tell that I'm going to have much fun with this.., oh.., the ENDLESS possibilities...
