Woke up to lots of little white caps on the bay, also clouds and much cooler temps.

In other words, the PERFECT sort of weather for antique shopping!
Today we drove to Elk Rapids, an absolutely lovely town with three very nice antique malls. I'd show you what we bought there, but I haven't unpacked it yet, and I actually cannot remember what we found.
Elk Rapids has a fabulous library. Every time we come here, I think I've just arrived in Narnia. Seriously. I even looked around for Mr. Tumnus. I also love the two paths.
For lunch we went to Don's Drive-In.
All the shopping, driving, and lunch made us both very tired. We spent the afternoon napping. Ahhh. Vacation. So NEEDED.
After our much needed naps we set out for more shopping. This time, the regular kind - like clothes and necessary things. Shelde's has a great soup and salad bar, which we had for supper.

The cloudy-sky sunset was spectacular. I took dozens of pictures of it, but I like this one best. That's THGGM walking on the pier.
Have I mentioned that I am still coughing like crazy? Yes. I know. On vacation. But remember, I'm not one to complain.
