Looky What I Made!

Look! I made another one of these!
This one I made while THGGM and I were watching HGTV shows last night.
I've posted many of these before, but this one is just a bit different. THIS time, I used two different colors of crape paper. I found the light green and the white at the thrift store yesterday. There were actually three almost-full rolls together in a baggy for 50 cents.
So this time I wrapped two colors together. I am pleased with it. For some reason unknown to me THGGM, who hither-to has paid little to no attention to anything I make, REALLY likes these.
The vase I found a few weeks ago also at the thrift store. I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but I knew SOMETHING would come along. The next week DiL-1 offered me some beautiful shells. I added those to the vase. A week later THGGM brought in an interesting Magnolia branch from the yard. I stuck that into the vase of shells.
Yesterday the crape paper came along.
And now? It's nicely filling in that spot on my 'green book' book case that needed some additional height to balance out the lamp.
I do love it's sort of wind-blown look.
Sometimes I just have a bit too much fun being a thrifty girl!
