This weekend has been a bit messed up over here. THGGM had Friday off and worked on Saturday. Today we had planned to go to the antiques flea market in Allegan, as this is the last one for the year. But I've seemed to have caught the bug that has been going around, normally, being the hale and hearty soul that I am (ha. ha. ha.) I decided it would be best for me to stay put today.
But I'm not so ill that I must just SIT there, so I've been tweaking up bits of this and that.
In the craft junk baskets at Ditto Friday I found some upholstery webbing scrapes. OH. WOW. I LOOOOOVE them. They were in a small bundle for 40 cents. Yesterday morning, when I should have been doing a million other things, I found some bias tape. Then I KNEW I must have some orange candles somewhere - and SURPRISE - I do! THGGM had just recovered two chairs in the living room, so I knew that the upholstery nails couldn't have gone too far. It wasn't until I unwrapped the webbing that I saw the orange line running through several of the pieces. PERFECT! Since then I've found leather cording, orange bias tape, and different colors of raffia. Good thing I like to tweak.
Oh. And I guess I also now collect small cream jugs that aren't white - because just LOOK - I have three now. Hmm. What a surprise.
What are you making? Do tell.

We really do need to get together someday. My H and I went to Allegan this morning. It rained most of the time. We cut our time short- a lot of the regular venders were not there-all in all a big disappointment. We are home now and I am blogging while he bemoans the Lions doing a poor job playing football. Hope you have a good week.
Oooh!!Webbing with orange? Mine has red.
Seeing the cool things you come up with - really helps stir my creative juices!
Lisa :O)
Great candles! And yet another collection ?!? I've been collecting poison ivy remedies. Not fun, but I've gathered quite a few.
Creating? Does making apple dumplings count?
