Missing Big Brother

It was hard for Famke yesterday to watch her big brother Jonge go off to his second day of Kindergarten. So we stayed busy.

I know that USUALLY when someone says that big brother is watching you, it's not a good thing. But for Famke, all of her life involved her big brother watching her, and she did not seem to mind it one bit. Of course, she never knew life without him at her side.

We found many fun things to do. Like taking pictures of our babies. And Zeke. Zeke does like to have his picture taken.

She helped me with many things. Especially keeping Feintsje happy. Feintsje had gone FOUR days without a pooh-pooh diaper. Poor boy. But that was resolved and she did NOT help with that. Nope. Had to leave the room. It was THAT bad. She doesn't seem to have that aversion to other body products.
When Kado awoke from his FOUR HOUR nap, they had a great time playing Mom and Dad. I love watching them play Mom and Dad. It's a new game now without Jonge here. Jonge knew the rolls VERY well. He liked to be 'kid', which meant he could pretty much play with whatever he wanted to while the 'Mom and Dad' did things like talked on cell-phones, searched for keys, cooked meals, and went to work.

Have I mentioned lately what a sweet sweet baby Feintsje is? Oh, I have, have I?

Jonge is greatly enjoying Kindergarten! Of course, we all knew he would, everyone except for him. But now that he has gone for two afternoons, even he knows how fun it is.

Oh! I just "got" what you meant about other body products! Judy, you are a hoot!

I'll be it is REALLY entertaining to watch their version of what Moms and Dads do!

Oh, has anyone told you what a sweet sweet baby Feintsje is?

Nikki Dee went off to JK yesterday. The only problem with Zach was not being able to get on the bus. He was heartbroken.

too cute. I was on the phone today with a customer service person and Caroline sat at the table beside me and talked on her hand and took notes and repeated things I said. It was so cute. Oh and your baby is too cute.
