On Monday

Feintsje wasn't feeling well.  This did not effect his cuddly sweetness one bit.  So I went for my camera to take a few pictures (okay, so more than a few) of his warm red cheeks.
When I came back into the living room this was the scene I came upon.

Jonge reading to his siblings.
Goodnight Gorilla, Blue Hat Green Hat, and The Wheels On The Bus.
 Notice his captivated audience.
Kado needs things to be EXACTLY as he needs them to be.  EXACTLY.
Even he was pleased.

Yup!  We have a reader.
And the soothing tones of his voice put the red-cheeked-fevered-brow Feintsje fast asleep.

Nothing better than a reader - unless it is a red-cheeked sleeper...

Oh my gosh, that last picture is the sweetest one yet.
Love it when kids love to read.

What a darling series of photos!! Everything - from the reading trio (yea Jonge) to the last blanky imprinted cheek in the last shot.

I never tire of seeing your photos. They are bread for the heart. The world seen through your lense is a wonderful place to be...it calls back all the times dearest to me. Both as the child, and then as the parent.
God bless you...

The picture of the three reading together is just priceless, the last one just melts my heart : ) I wish picture taking was as easy as it is now when my kids were little.
