for pets, please remember our Zeke.
This picture is from last week when he was enjoying a spring day outside with Famke and Kado.
Soon after I noticed that he had quit jumping up on the couches to look out of windows.
I thought it might have been an ear problem and checked that out. When I moved him to clean the second ear, he bit me. HARD.
I still thought it was his ear, but by the weekend (why do these things always happen on the weekends?!) it became obvious that something is very very wrong with either his hind legs or back.
We could not get him into a vet until tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM.
He eats and drinks if I bring it to him. I'm doing my best to keep him comfortable with the recommended dosage of aspirin for his size. It seems to help with his pain, but certainly not my pain watching him trying to get around dragging his back end.
When I bring him food, he will eat it.
Ugh. I am just sick about this.
Poor boy.

I am so sorry to hear this. It is very difficult to what the people/animals that we love suffer. Praying for him and for you. May God comfort you, Lisa :O)
Definitely sending Zeke some prayers. I'm so sorry that he's going through a hard time. And prayers for you, too.
Aww, poor Zeke. I hate to see anyone, pet or otherwise in pain. Saying a special doggie prayer.
Oh dear! Yes, I'll definitely pray for your little guy. As you know, I'm a big believer in praying for our pets. Hang in there and try to believe for the best, though I know that's not easy. I'm still hanging in there for our cat, Daniel, because these next few days are critical. Oh, how we all love our pets! Blessings, Debra
Oh no!! Poor baby! Prayers for Zeke and for you.
So sorry to hear about Zeke's pain (and yours, too!). I hope he can find some relief. :( Poor baby! It's the same with our human babies and our furry babies. They can't tell us what's wrong and it's a helpless feeling. I'll be praying Judy.

Wow!! That doesn't sound good - I will pray for your Zeke...
Oh Zeke, I hope you just twisted your back and it will be relieved with rest and tlc. I always get just as trounled when our pets are ill as with my children. My mum is really sick and I had to go there this morning asap, seems to be just a virus, but she is over a hundred years old and these are unrestfull days for us, but that does not mean I can not sympathise with Zke and you. Wish for the best for bith the patients. DM
Praying. And thinking good thoughts.
