Simple Banners

In my spare time I've been working on a few banners.

They are so simple and inexpensive.

Although I haven't done it yet, I've got plans to make them reversible.

The base is made from plain chipboard books found at a craft store.  I found mine at Michael's.

Same with the paper.  When the scrapbook open stock goes on sale for seven sheets for a dollar I spend my money on the cute stuff!
The welcome banner is strung on bias tape and the party banner is on a rainbow colored ribbon.

My letters are cut from a stencil set I thrifted awhile ago, but letters from a teacher's store would work too - which reminds me that I have a bunch of those around here.., somewhere...

Those are very cute, I make holiday themed banners tht are shaped like flags out of holiday fabrics. They look so cute and are so festive.

These look great, Judy! You know something I just noticed? I've looked at your photo of your house here for how many months and just realized it's BRICK, not yellow paint, lol! Am I observant or what?!

I love seeing pictures of your kitchen. It is sooo cozy. And I love reading your blog. I haven't been keeping up with many blogs lately, and I've shortened the list of those I visit regularly . . . but you, are still on my list, and I always come back:) Love your sense of humor!
