Inexpensive Therapy

Look what I found on Pinterest!
Of course, I saved it to my board titled "Ideas for the Grandchildren".

It came from the blog of an elementary art teacher from Tennessee.  He uses it with his fourth grade students.
That seemed about right for me.
It begins with just a slightly curved line down the middle of the paper, then eight dots are placed along the line.  From there you just 'connect the dots' without crossing over any lines.
After I made about five of these on paper, I got the idea to try it on some of the Jenga blocks I found at the thrift store awhile back.
Next up I'd like to try it on a wall...

First of all, your header picture is the best ever, I just love it!
Second...you have so much art and talent, it is amazing!

Any chance you could either give me a link OR show me what you mean about 8 dots. I'm just a little artistically challenged....but I OUGHT to be able to "do" fourth grade level art!?! I REALLY should. And this is SO cool!

What did you color it in with, Judy?

Judy,
You come up with the best ideas ever. Period.
This is a great project for any and all would-be artists over the summer break.
Your new header is just fabulous. I would like to see one with the kids piled all over you. You would have to recruit the Mr. to get it, but it would be so worth it.
If Jesus tarries, I truly hope to get opportunity to do and be just what you're doing right now. You're exactly right...family is where it's at.
As always, thanks for the inspiration.

Warmly,
Jen
