Sibling Love

On Saturday Jonge and I had a project to work on for Famke's birthday party.

The bird cages I'd picked up at Michael's the week before (on clearance for $1.70) needed to be painted.

And I needed his opinion on the fairies I'd picked up on clearance at Walmart.

Normally I'm not ALL about clearance, but this was an "extra" as we'd all gone in together on the bike.
So on Saturday afternoon we painted, and then went shopping to see if there were any better fairies for sale.

There weren't.

The tiny Tinkerbell and Terence were just fine, in Jonge's very honest opinion.

And he did a great job painting too.

His excitement to make something just for his sister was so sweet to see.

We'd thought of making our own fairies, but both of us thought that Famke might think they were "weird".

Although you can be sure that I still have one bird cage left and plan to make a plethora of my own weird fairies for myself!

 Yup!

We "done good" with those fairies!
And they fit nicely into their little fairy homes!
Just ask Kado, as he ADORES them!
