Oh my, all sick and feeling lousy exept your DH? You could try just cutting tip and roots, but not the peel off of an onion and placing it on a little saucer in your room and your bedroom. Seems the onion, although smelling like onions do, have the capacity to clean the air. Well, it is wprth trying, the onion might turn black very quickly. It might just be an old wives tale, but the slightly oniony smell ensures your nostrils will stay damp and so do their job of catching bacteria better. Get well soon, all of you. DM
I was HUNTED down in Meijers by one of the Pharm. Tech.s. She knew me from when I was here for the two years taking care of Dad. She also knew I was now taking care of Mom and not working. As a Nurse, all my jobs required mandatory flu vax.
She said, "You will get your flu shot, and You will get it NOW."
I did.
