Best. Day. Ever.

Quite possibly this was the very best day ever of summer 2013.

You may be wondering why I'm not writing a 10 things in 10 minutes.

Well, that would be because I do not believe that I even did ten things today.

Nope.  Most likely not.

And it felt SO good!

The weather could only be described as unseasonably cool.

And cloudy too.

Sigh...

Today I did a bit of puttering around in the kitchen, and began a re-sort of sorts of craft supplies.

Then I would grab either coffee or my computer and sit in the very cool breeze-way ENJOYING EVERY SECOND of my Saturday.

Then, at exactly 3:30 I took a shower and dressed in my going out clothes.

We met our kids at Bone Fish Grill for our thirty-fifth anniversary dinner.  Only two months late, as our thirty-fifth anniversary was exactly two months ago.

We had a wonderful time.  We have a wonderful family.  I am truly aware of just how blessed we are.

Have I mentioned that it was cool, cloudy, and breezy?  Oh, yes, I did.

I came home, put on a pair of JEANS and a LONG SLEEVED SHIRT, made tea and watched Keeping Up Appearances.

What a lovely day.

The picture?  That is from yesterday.  Leave me alone and I wander off, making weird crafts as I go.

Judy, you were married the same year as my darling hubby and I. We would have had our 35th anniversary on June 3. We had over 33 years together. I love the cool temps and I love cloudy days. Maybe it is our migraines that make us love that type of weather. Like you, I am enjoying this weather while it lasts and counting my blessings. They are bountiful. Have a terrific Sunday!

Ya gotta love this weather (or at least I do)!

And Keeping Up Appearances is our regular before-bedtime Saturday night activity. I can just about quote it line for line, but I never get tired of it.
