Cute As A Bug

 The grand kids found this in the backyard Friday afternoon.  There is just something so beautiful about how intricate this creature is.  And I LOVE that shade of green.  He posed for a bit and then hopped around the yard with four kids chasing him.  He ended up safely in the lily of the valley patch.

In Europe there is a animated childrens TV serie called Maja die Biene (the Bee), it was initially a drawingsserie, which I found much more real, but, well, time goes on, anomated it is nowadays. Her best friend is a cricket/grasshopper, it is really nice for children, even if they do not understand the languwage, good for rainy days, really no worries for uggliness childrens TV/ I like the green fellow too in that picture. Wish I could paint like you. DM

Things like the bug leave me in awe, that every little crinkle and crevice is in the right place, etc. Just amazing
