Well, Sixty Happened

 Such a fun birthday!

Antique shopping at the mall in Saugatuck, and then walking and browsing through downtown.
Amazing azalea bushes in a gorgeous array of colors.

I have a beautiful azalea bush in my backyard which is blooming profusely this year.

But lined up together like this makes for a stunning display!
Sigh.

I wondered around taking pictures while THGGM sat on a bench with the teensiest look of sheer boredom on his face.
I love this statue in the park.

Especially her puppet.

I WANT HER PUPPET.
From Saugatuck we headed north through Holland to Grand Haven.

We had lunch along the channel at Snug Harbor.

These delicious burgundy mushrooms were just the appetizer.

Yum.
After lunch we went to the beach, where it was 64 degrees and WINDY.
Such a peaceful thing to do, watching wave upon wave roll in.
From there it was homeward bound and to the ball park, where I got the BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!

Stay tuned.
