Still to Come...

Waiting to celebrate Christmas with Oldest Son and his lovely wife, Daughter-in-law. They will be coming this weekend, and hope to have a nephew by then. Nobody wishes this more than Daughter.

You probably have another week or so before the baby arrives.
I encourage you all to shower your daughter with attention and tell her how beautiful she is. Pedicures, manicures, maid service, cooked/frozen meals, an empty mother's journal are all good ways to show her how much you care.
There is nothing more *detrimental* to a full term mother to be than people sitting and watching her with that unspoken thought of "is it time yet" and "how much longer is it going to be?" Everything should be about your daughter now....and not how anxious/excited everyone else is.
I'm not saying you are doing this but its very easy to get caught up in "hurrying up because the anticipation is killing you" instead of helping the mom to focus on the miracle inside of her and waiting for God and the baby to decide when the best arrival time is.
Soapbox over :) and shared in a gentle spirit.

Thanks for the reminders, all received in a gentle spirit!

I went over with Oldest Son. It got so I would not even answer my phone.

Daughter is being quite a good sport about it all. And, she doesn't read my blog, so I can let out all of my anxieties here.
