Daughter on Her Wedding Day

While in the process of switching back to a stationery computer, I found Daughter and Son-in-law's wedding picture file.

And, since Daughter was in shock last night after viewing the dark circles she sported under her eyes in the days immediately after the birth of Baby Boy, I thought I would post a picture of her at her radiant best.

I love this picture. Daughter was never much into the really 'girlie' things, but she totally got into it for her wedding.

Most of the candid shots I have of her, she is in a sports uniform of one variety or another. Basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer were her sports of choice.

Yesterday she said the funniest thing to me. Baby Boy is awake more, and is interested in looking around at what is going on. Daughter said to me, "Now that he's awake more, what am I supposed to DO with him?" That made me laugh.

It won't be long now and Baby Boy will have a ball of some sort in his hands, throwing it at whatever suits his fancy, just like she always did.

Although I suspect from time to time Grandma Judy will remove the ball and replace it with a book. It didn't work for Daughter, but who knows, there is always hope!

She looks beautiful . . . but then again, I think she looks great in all the "post-baby" pictures, too!

Lovely photo of lovely daughter...I too thought she looked pretty good so soon after birth...some of us looked like death warmed over (and FELT like that too).

Per her request, I did not post or pass around a few pictures of her. Day three and four after Baby Boy she looked so wiped out.

On those days...I cried.
