A Green Book

This is another one of my favorite books. It has a copyright of 1911, and this wonderful quote from Shelley on the inside -

"You must come home with me and be my guest:
You will give joy to me, and I will do
All that is in my power to honour you."

It is inscribed to Mrs. John Reddish, from Kate Logan, Xmas 1912.

I think I may have something that you would find interesting. I have a leather bound copy of George Eliot's "Adam Bede" with an inscription to someone (i can't remember the name, the book is in Grant) dated Christmas 1907.
I thought that would encourage your antiquitarianism.

Do you know that the last two comments that I made have bounced back to me? I'm talking about the notice that you get sent by email. AOL isn't letting my messages through. Are they stopping everybody who posts or just me?

My two friends from Canada!

Chris, I would love to see your book - I've never read that one, but do like our girl George.

Anvilcloud - I haven't gotten a notice when someone posts for about a week now. I will have to check this out.

I am as well, but the messages seem to be posting.
Aunt Judy,
I'll try to remember to bring it down sometime.
