I've a Lot of Favorite Things

Dutch Boy and Girl salt and pepper shakers made into tassles. I used to be afraid to 'alter' things. Not so any more. Especially with these. All the altering can be removed if I ever want them to be just plain old salt and pepper shakers again.
I have a small collection of plaques like this one. The Husband God Gave Me had one that was his grandmother's. That got me going. They seem to be getting harder to find. This one cost 59 cents at a thrift store.
Some of my devotional and poetry books. The vase is McCoy, which also belonged to THGGM's grandmother. It has a small chip, but you wouldn't have known that if I hadn't told you.
I love the graphics on the cups. They are different on the opposite side. The Orphan Annie Ovalteen cup also was THGGM's grandmother's. We bought her house after she died and many of these treasures were still in it.
