My Old Dog

Last night my family had a Christmas party at Daughter's house. I made a lovely roast beef in my 7 quart crockpot. Daughter and Baby Boy came home from the hospital yesterday, so we celebrated that also. All that was good.
It was a cold and rainy night. Very very rainy. When Youngest Son got home, he noticed that our cat was acting very strangely by the back door. Youngest Son noticed that our dog was no where to be found. He opened the back door. There she stood, dripping wet. He brought her in. She had no body heat. He wrapped her in a towel and held her while he called us.
When I got home I blew her dry with my hair dryer and gave her something to eat with a shot of coffee mixed in.
She just loves having her hair dryed. She warmed right up. She ran all around. She's still running around today.
