Today I...

...went out for breakfast with this cute little guy. Then, I went to Walmart and spent a small fortune on things a grandma needs, like diapers and baby wipes. I hit two thrift stores and bought two pair of Oshgosh overalls. I also got a wool sweater to felt, and some old velveteen ribbon. Then, The Husband God Gave Me and I went antique shopping, something we haven't done a lot of lately. Walmart got all of our money, so we just looked. I did spend one dollar on a very old chicken cookie cutter - like the kind dutch 'windmill' cookies have in the package, and one dollar on a 1917 children's painting book with adorable graphics. After this I visited with my parents, who were doing great. Of course we made a late night stop to see Baby Boy. Since THGGM is only home on the weekends, he hogs Baby Boy. I played with the Granddogs. They are crazy about me. I cleaned out Charley's ears and let Max nibble on mine.

Those were the fun parts of my Saturday. What was yours like?
