It was a frightening thing. The police were called to an intersection because of a 'disstraught suicidal man' driving a pick-up, with a rifle in the front seat.
The police were able to pull him over, but he took off again.
In the end, no one was seriously injured, although there were four pretty beat up police cars, which is what it took to catch him.
I believe it took so long to clear up, as the police from our city have to turn the investigation over to the state police when they are involved in the accident.
It was weird. The truck drove across lawns and came to rest, surrounded by the police cars involved, right at the opening of Daughter and Son-in-laws caul-du-sac street.
I would not have wanted to be a part of nor a witness to THAT scene.
On the news today, nothing new has been said. No name given, no reason why. The man is in custody, but they seem to be very sympathetic to his condition, which is odd.
