Book Shelf Number Three (and counting)
Not all of these books are mine. Some belong to my sister, a prolific reader.
Most I purchased for either a dime (paperback) or a quarter (hardcover) at my local thrift store last summer. They know not what they have. No. Not.
I've an old butter pat with glass fruit in it. I know why. I have a friend who once scored a cut glass bowl of glass fruit like this, only life size.
I liked it so much, I found "the home version" for myself.
The next shelf has a child's muffin tin with brightly colored tea lights in it. More circles, I guess.
And then, doesn't a dirty old galvinized bucket call out to you? It used to sit on the shelf under my Mary Cassett print of the two girls on the beach. That picture is in this room, so the bucket stays.
Those are the first three book shelves.
I have four more to go. Hopefully, I will be finished tonight.
