Max is the dog pictured on the left.He is the greatest dog on earth. Charley, the dog on the right is second.
Max is in surgery right now.
He has a bowel obstruction.
Please pray for Max. He is two years old. He is loyal, obedient and well loved. We need him.
UPDATE ON MAX: He had over three hours of surgery. Five areas of his intestine had to be cut to remove carpet. Carpet and large amounts of grass. Tonight is critical. He will be alone at the vet for his recovery.

Poor Max...is it possible he needs a different kind of dog food or more chewy toys?? He is a beautiful dog! Hope he will be ok!
Oh no. I'm so sorry. How did he get into carpet?
Max looks a lot like my first dog, who was also named Max. He, too, was possibly the best dog in the world. Although my current dog, Coltrane, is pretty awesome.
I'll keep Max in my prayers - as well as your daughter, since it's her dog, right?
