It's a migraine I have
Oh jolly delight
I've so much to do
That won't happen tonight.
I've a craft room to clean
From bottom to top
And it's Friday, of course
So I've bathrooms to mop.
No dinner is cooking
In my shiny new oven
And the husband is coming
Expecting some lovin'.
But I'm on the couch
Just staring in space
With my head in my hands
And a scowl on my face.
By jove! I hate headaches
I hate them so much
And this one I've had
Since right before lunch.
All day I've been blessed
With a boy that is happy
This helped me of course
And his extra long nappy.
Now that he's gone
I have much to pick up
So it won't be too messy
When we sit to sup.
What that will be
I haven't a clue
Except that it will
Be from a drive-thru.
So tonight I will sit
With a cat on my tummy
And try to look perky
Although I feel crummy.
I hope I shall dream
After all this caffeine
Cause if I don't sleep
I get sort of mean.
Early tomorrow
When I wake up
I will seek out some coffee
To put in my cup!
My cup runneth over
With certainty I say
It's just that I cannot
Feel it today.

That's pretty impressive, especially considering the state of your head. I probably asked this long ago, but ... did you ever try dissolving three aspirins in water well you fell one coming on. It's supposed to work wonders with many. Oh, you have to drink the aspirin water; you can't just dissolve them pills and walk away, y'know? :)
that peom has wonderful rhythm...sorry it was caused by such a nasty occassion: i hope you feel better soon
