Yes. It's true. Only seven months until Christmas.
This year I did not put my Christmas idea books away.
They take up the bottom shelf of the book case in the den (books one looks at for ideas), and a shelf in the living room (books one reads).
I left some of them in the bathroom where I can see them several times a day and be reminded of what I hope to make.
Today I plan to start my shopping. I want to get some hardwood blocks for Baby Boy.
I'll most likely need to sell something to buy them, but he is worth it!
If all else fails, I suppose I could let him play with my "Merry Christmas" blocks!

Time really flies doesn't it? That may not be your point about leaving the Christmas books in handy places, but it is amazing for me to think over the past five months. It has gone so fast. It really will be Christmas before we know it.
One day I will be as forward-thinking as you are!
I have a feeling you are going to have a lot of new readers because of Mel linking your blog to hers-and it's a great find! The thought of Christmas being 7 months away gives me the shivers-because between now and then my family and I will be going to Michigan from NC to visit my in-laws and then moving to Texas! Love your post about Irreconcilable Differences. I'll be back!
Wow, Judy - love your blog! Congrats on the grandson - I will be a 1st time grandma in Aug. and can hardly wait! I linked here from Mel's blog, and what a great find it is! Entertaining, and I will look forward to reading you all the time!
