Today's Antique Store Finds

THGGM and I drove out to Spring Lake this afternoon to shop at two of our favorite antique stores. I was very pleased to find a small Milk of Magnesia bottle in a pale shade of blue. The paler shades are my favorites.

I also found "That Printer of Udell's" by Harold Bell Wright. I've been looking for it for over a year. I found one once, but it was in poor condition and way over priced. This one was reasonable, and only has a slightly musty odor about it. And, it is GREEN!

I also found these four napkins with tatted edging. They seem in perfect condition. I'm surprised by that, as they were SO cheap!

At our last stop, we had to hurry through, as they were only open for 20 more minutes. I found several things there that I really liked, but settled on this shabby-chic-ish ivory colored tin. I haven't been able to pry it open yet, but once I do, it will hold more craft supplies in my art room.

Now I must run. Family picnic here tomorrow. Lots to do. Haven't gone grocery shopping yet. Still have to work. Need to set up my parents meds for the week. Thankful that it is still somewhat light at 10:00!

(oh...when will i learn?...)
