Oh, looky! The book on the left is by E. B. White's wife.
The cookbook on the right has such a great graphic!
They were 50 cents a piece.

And, then these!
Doilies and bits of crocheted edging
Two little yellow blankets
Blue blanket binding
Bright magnetic alphabet letters
Word cubes - how cool are they?!

And, these three books.
I've already started on the Abigail Adams biography.

Too bad you live so far away, I would LOVE shopping with you! You indeed find many treasures!
Wonderful finds. I just love old books like these!
Oh! More terrific finds, indeed! I especially liked your first two books... I've been meaning to read the Katharine White one--thanks for the reminder. I found three books yesterday at a junk shop, two by authors I already love--Ralph Moody, Philip Jerome Cleveland... and the Jean Kerr book, Please Don't Eat the Daisies--something I'd also been meaning to read, for like, forever! Don't these kinds of book finds just make your day?! Thanks for sharing your treasures!... Debra
What a nice blog, and I love these types of things, too. Clicked over here via Corner Chair and glad I did. Blessings to you!
