The Book Meme

1. One book that changed your life.

ONE book? I cannot think of just one book that changed my life. Maybe the FIRST book that changed my life then. Larry Crabb's book "Inside Out".


2. One book you have read more than once.

Again, ONE book? "A Bird in the Tree" by Elizabeth Goudge. Excellent fiction. I think this one changed my life also, as so many books have.


3. One book you'd want an a desserted island.

Oh, I think I'd best have a Boy Scout handbook. Besides that, I'd want to have Oswald Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest.


4. One book that made you giddy.

That would have to be an anthology of short stories. I just bought one this weekend. You cannot have too many of these, in my humble opinion.


5. One book that you wish had been written.

"THGGM for Dummies".


6. One book that wracked you with sobs.

The children's book, "Goodnight Mr. Tom".


7. One book you wish had never been written.

Hitler's "Mein Kampf".


8. One book you are currently reading.

Really, now. One? "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver


9. One book you've been meaning to read.

"The Brother's Karamazov", which SHOULD be the one I take to an island, as that is probably the only way I will read it.
