It's "Show and Tell" Time

A post I read today made me think that I should keep you updated on the blogs I like to read.

I made a decision, based mostly on the fact that I am computer challanged, not to include blogs in my side bar. I've learned over the two years that I have been blogging that those I thought were so wonderful would sometimes have hateful things to say. I have enough hateful things in myself that I don't need to borrow bad thoughts from other people. Hence, only my two other blogs appear in my sidebar (and sometimes i wonder about me!).

These are my daily "must read" blogs:

You just may enjoy them also!

www.debrasotherthoughts.blogspot.com It was her post that reminded me that I need to do this more often!

www.unretouchedphoto.com This is Mel. She's a hoot, and my favorite writer of all time.

www.brandywinebooks.net Phil and Lars. They write about books and bookish things. They have fabulous links in their sidebar to other book and bookish things blogs.

www.turkeyfeathers.typepad.com I spend a lot of time here. I've not seen a thing on this blog that isn't delightful and beautiful. The blogs she links to are all creative and inspiring. I'm hooked on this one.

So, now you know why I don't have a long list in my side bar. But, I'm THRILLED to send along links to those who truly have something great to bring along to "Show and Tell".

(oh, and i'm feeling a bit better today. when i cough, i no long begin singing 'bend and stretch, reach for the stars, there goes jupiter, there goes mars..." but, i'm still soooo very tired!)

Thanks for the link! And thanks, too, for your comment this morning at my blog--I loved how you said I am in the sidebar of your heart... :) Actually, I love my sidebars... In my eyes they are like front doors to the homes of my friends and when I click on them it is like knocking upon those doors. I have no problem with my friends who believe differently than I do, it's just the people--the non-kindred spirits--who choose to swing their blogs around like bats, bashing everyone in the head. But the blogs which are still in my sidebar today (like yours!)--the majority feel like friends and I am proud and blessed to have them there for friendship and fellowship. Blessings and thanks again... Debra

Well, I'm sorry to see I've been swept out of your sidebar but that's ok...I love coming by here. I went to Debra's blog from your link and really enjoyed her site, too. I agree 100% with what she had to say. As you know, I went thru a rough period not long ago with some 'ladies' at my site. It discouraged me terribly but you can't keep this stubborn ol' Swede down. I notice I've been 'swept' off their sidebars and several others in their 'group'...I've been blacklisted, haha! Ah well. I am no longer visiting many sites anymore either, just for the reason you listed, too. I've been going to Mel's blog for several months now...I'm the official cheer leader of her "Diet Naked" team. She was recently in Portland and I was invited to meet up with her and a couple of other Portland area bloggers but 'real life' interrupted and I couldn't get away. She IS a hoot, isn't she?

Hee, hee. I'm computer challenged, that's the MAIN reason.

And, notice I did not say these are the ONLY four blogs I read on a daily basis.

I'm hoping to do a post a month - four at a time - so as not to miss Kris, Yvonne, Tina, Jill, Marilee, Laurie, AnvilCloud, and a PLETHORA of other great blogs.

And Kris, I would NEVER remove you from my sidebar...only because I could NEVER figure out how to GET you in my sidebar! Really. I'm THAT challenged.

Oh, and vote here if you think it's time for Elizabeth to get a blog. I would LOVE to visit at Elizabeth's blog, wouldn't you? I'm glad she leaves such nice comments on mine.
