Why So Much Thrift/Antique Shopping?

THGGM and I were hoping to go to Traverse City for the weekend.

But, we didn't.

All that heat and humidity last week knocked me flat.

So, we stayed around here, thrift and antique shopping, yet close enough to home for me to crash when necessary. And crash I did.

Anyway, we DID have some fun!

THGGM found a fabulous old end table (it's not in a good spot for photographing yet) and a loveseat (which i've posted on my 'plethora' blog).

I just found a bunch of little treasures. This 'occupied japan' figurine is one. I think she has the cutest face! She came with a boy figure also (both for 3.00) but he isn't so cute.

Why all the pictures? My mind just isn't in a good spot right now. Oh, it's still in my head and attached to my shoulders, but not functioning at full speed right now.
