The Green Lantern

I saw this interesting plant yesterday also.

But this one wasn't at the Meijer Gardens.

I pulled weeds in my backyard yesterday morning while I was hanging up laundry.
I went to pull this one, and noticed it has interesting looking lanterns hanging under it's leaves.

I've not a clue what it is, but it was pretty to look at.

This one, I did not pull.

I like it.

I always find at least one new plant each Spring/Summer pop up that I never planted myself. Bird droppings will do it, especially if you have a feeder or a bird bath in your yard and get lots of 'traffic'. This year I had a wild strawberry plant! I usually always find a couple of walnut seedlings from nuts the squirrels have buried but forgotten about. I had a peach seedling a couple years ago! I wish I could help you out on the name of this one you have pictured but I haven't got a clue.
